Ultimately, the goal of our database system is to compile data about what has gone wrong with food orders and process that into useful information for employees. I would like to build this in such a way that I can generate reports about what days and menu items have the most error associated with them. My hope is that if we start to be more aware of what we have done wrong we will increase our service quality and look better in the eyes of our customers. The end users will be our office employees who also work with the cash drawers. We are looking to design multiple forms for data entry including ones for; creating new customer records and searching for existing ones, one for orders themselves, and one for voids and the correlating reason. My goal is to have everyone in the front of house on the same page about what we need to work on and have an accurate up to date list about what we need to reconcile for all of our guests.
